Keo mango is one of the most well-known specialty mango varieties from Vietnam’s Mekong Delta, primarily cultivated in the provinces of An Giang, Dong Thap, and parts of Kien Giang. These regions benefit from fertile alluvial soil and a stable tropical climate, providing ideal conditions for year-round cultivation. With tens of thousands of hectares under cultivation, Vietnam produces an estimated 150,000 to 200,000 tons of Keo mango annually, serving both domestic demand and a growing international market that includes China, South Korea, Japan, and more recently, European countries.

케오 망고는 베트남 메콩 델타 지역에서 재배되는 대표적인 특산 망고 품종 중 하나로, 주로 안장(An Giang), 동탑(Dong Thap), 끼엔장(Kien Giang) 지역에서 재배됩니다. 이 지역들은 비옥한 충적토와 온화한 기후 조건을 갖추고 있어 망고 재배에 매우 적합하며, 연중 안정적인 수확이 가능합니다. 현재 베트남 전역에서 연간 약 15만~20만 톤의 케오 망고가 생산되며, 국내 시장은 물론 중국, 한국, 일본, 그리고 최근에는 유럽 국가들로도 활발히 수출되고 있습니다.

It plays a significant role in Vietnam’s mango export sector, which generates over USD 250 million in annual export value.
